Born in Upstate New York, the middle child of a ‘lifer’ at Amoco, I had the opportunity to live in many wonderful places. My father’s work sent us from Syracuse New York to Chicago, Wilmington Delaware, Houston, and Geneva Switzerland. After graduating from The International School of Geneva, I chose to attend The University of Texas at Austin. I fell in love with Austin and wanted to finally grow some roots. With a background in Fine Arts I struggled to find a career fit and ended up with a manufacturer of high-end humidors. Then, in 1996, I was recruited by a local architect who mentored me and took the time to teach me everything from running blueprints to managing fairly large commercial projects. I was hooked, I loved drawing on the computer, building models, and facing the daily challenges of a fast-paced firm. Fast-forward 15 years and I am living in Georgetown with my beautiful wife and three children. Hired in 2005 at J. Bryant Boyd, Architect I am thrilled to be continuing my career with the same enjoyment I discovered at the start. View my profile on Linkedin.
